Glimpse
Your family photos, turned into a party game. One phone hosts the game and can be mirrored to a TV. Everyone else joins from their own phone’s browser with nothing to install and no accounts needed. The whole game runs on your Wi-Fi: no internet needed, no servers, no ads.

How it plays
- Add photos on the host phone: family trips, old albums, anything. 25 photos or more is best.
- Mirror the phone to the TV (AirPlay screen mirroring), or open the TV address in the TV’s browser.
- Everyone scans the QR code on the TV and picks a nickname. No app needed, any phone browser works.
- The storyteller secretly chooses one of 25 photos on their phone, says a single word about it out loud, and only then taps it.
- The others find it among 6 photos on the TV and vote from their phones.
- Points: if some players find it, they and the storyteller score. If everyone finds it, the word was too easy.
- The storyteller role moves to the next player.
What you need
- One phone or tablet running Glimpse (the host).
- 3 or more players, each with any phone with a web browser.
- Everyone on the same Wi-Fi, or (in iPhone only) on the host phone’s Personal Hotspot.
- A TV is optional but more fun: screen mirroring, or the TV’s own browser.
Private by design
Your photos never leave your home network. The host phone runs the game itself, and the other phones talk only to it, over your Wi-Fi. The app has no online service behind it; it only checks for app updates when it has internet.
- No accounts or sign-up
- No data collection, analytics, or tracking
- No ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases
